Echo is a simple voice recorder with instant playback. Now with optional echo sound effect. To make a recording, simply press the record button, release it and listen to it.
After the recording is finished, you can play it back as many times as you like. Press play while the recording is already playing and it will play back on top. You can also record while playing or play while recording. Acoustic chaos guaranteed.
Echo isn’t just for fun, it’s designed to be the fastest and easiest way to listen to yourself. It’s a sound mirror: use it to practice speaking a foreign language, training your voice, playing music, or giving a speech. Or just enjoy recording your friends.
Best of all, the Echo is ad-free, so you can use it without being distracted.

* You can now save externally: it is available on the Recordings screen which you can access through the menu. (To save the recording on this screen, just click on the blue star at the top of the screen after recording.)
* Recordings are saved as uncompressed audio; this means they have great sound quality, but the files can be large. (Technically, the Echo records 16-bit, 44.1 kHz, PCM mono audio; storing one minute of audio takes 5.29 MB.)
* It is possible to share externally saved files (for example, by attaching them to email, messaging applications, etc.); soon we will add sharing directly from the app.
